روز جهانی ایدز از سال 1988 به منظور افزایش بودجه‌ها و افزایش آگاهی و مبارزه با تبعیض‌ها، به اول دسامبر برای با 10 آذر ماه هر سال اطلاق می‌شود. انجمن یاری کودکان در معرض خطر، حمایت از کودکان مبتلا به این بیماری یا در معرض خطر ابتلای آن را یکی از مهمترین گروه هدف خود می‌داند و هر ساله در این روز می‌کوشد اقداماتی را جهت اطلاع رسانی به کودکان تحت حمایت خود و دیگر گروه‌های اجتماعی به ویژه خانواده ‌های آنها انجام دهد. برگزاری کارگاه‌های پیشگیری از ابتلا به ایدز از جمله این اقدامات است.

به امید دنیایی پر از امنیت و صلح برای همه کودکان
